Low calorie option at Starbucks

 If you love coffee but don’t want all the calories or fat that comes with a latte, then you’ll love what I’ve discovered. Not only is it 35 calories (depending on the size, may be less) it tastes great! In this picture I ordered a Venti Iced Caffe Americano with 3 pumps of sugar free vanilla and 3 packets of Stevia. Not only does the stevia have absolutely no calories, it makes it sweet. And with the sugar free vanilla flavoring you’re getting some more flavor to it without calories. This coffee is very strong so it’s not for the light hearted. Go ahead and give it a shot!

Tasty lunch item

Lunch is one of my favorite meals, I love being creative or trying new recipes. Today is all about greens! Avocados, cucumbers and spinach. I picked up some fresh ciabatta bread from my local bakery and went to town with this sandwich. I added some onions and cherry tomatoes on my sandwich along with some baby carrots and some fresh juice to wash it all down. Enjoy!

               Yoga is one of my favorite activities to do to feel good. Not only does it take you to your happy place, but you also get a good workout from it was well. You do not need to belong to a gym or studio to be successful. Just taking 15 minutes out of your day to do a couple of poses will increase your flexibility, improve circulatory health and digestion, and improve your mood drastically. If you haven’t jumped on the bandwagon, now is the time! Take control of your life and your health.

Avocado Sandwich

I love being creative when it comes to meal planning and prepping. Take for instance this avocado sandwich on rye bread. I threw this together while trying to clean out my pantry. With only 1 slice of rye bread and a half of an avocado I was able to turn it into something tasty and nutritious. Add a few grape tomatoes with some onion and baby spinach and lunch is served.
